Information you choose to send

Information that stays on your device

Your settings, team names and avatars, custom decks, favorites, game history and ticket balance are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. Uninstalling the App deletes them. Tilt controls use your phone's motion sensors on the device only; motion data is never stored or sent.

Services we use

Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform

The App shows ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your advertising ID, IP address, approximate location and device information to show personalized or non-personalized ads. In regions where consent is required, such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App asks for your consent using Google's User Messaging Platform before showing personalized ads. Chardz Premium subscribers don't see ads.

Firebase Analytics and Remote Config

Firebase Analytics tells us how the App is used, for example which decks are played and which screens are opened. We look at it in aggregate to improve the game. Firebase Remote Config lets us turn features on or off without releasing an update.

Sentry

Sentry collects crash reports and errors, including device details and your IP address, so we can fix problems. For a small share of sessions, and for sessions where an error happens, Sentry also records a session replay: a reconstruction of the screens you used. Text and images are masked in replays. Feedback and word reports you send are also stored in Sentry.

RevenueCat and Google Play Billing

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details. RevenueCat manages your purchases using an anonymous ID so that premium content stays unlocked and can be restored.

Expo

The App uses Expo services to deliver app updates and to measure performance, such as how long the App takes to start. This includes your device model and operating system version.

How we use information

Data sharing

We share data only with the service providers listed above, which process it on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for any other purpose unless the law requires us to.

Data retention and security

We keep data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, within the retention periods of each service provider. Data sent between the App and these services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Your choices

Your rights and data deletion

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information. To ask for your data to be deleted, or for any privacy request, email us at [email protected]. Because the App has no accounts, please include any details that help us find your data, such as the email address you used for feedback.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

International data transfers

Our service providers may process and store information on servers outside your country, including in the United States, with safeguards to protect it.

Third-party privacy policies

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
